Leon Meng, founding partner of Ascendent Capital and founding Council member of the Future Forum China, hosted the 2017 Future Forum annual meeting scientist breakfast seminar in Beijing on January 15, 2017. Dr. Xiaodong Wang, a member of the United States National Academy of Sciences and Senior Research Fellow at the Beijing Institute of Life Sciences shared his research and business experience with portfolio company senior executives from Ascendent, and VIP guests from the Future Forum. Future Forum is a non-profit platform for the promotion of science in China. The 2017 annual meeting was well participated by over ten Nobel Prize, Turing Award and Franklin Award laureates, and over a hundred leading scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and artists.
